Deadphotographers Exhibition - Spring 2011 - 2010-11-21 23:30:10
In Spring 2011, the Deadphotographers project will be exhibited at Bank Street Arts in Sheffield.
This sophomoric exhibition - the work was initially showcased as part of Dr Karanka's Print stravaganza in london 2010 - will be designed to explore the presentation of the project whilst it's still in it's early development. As such the exhibition may include different mediums and evolve as time progresses with the show.
The exhibition comes as part of James' residency at the Sheffield based gallery, and will serve as his final exhibition from a program that brought amongst a list of others: Simon Roberts' "Motherland", a series of throwaway digital exhibitions entitled "In Camera", several group shows and his first solo photography show "Olympic Dreams", as he attempted to explore the relationship of Sheffield and photography as a whole.
